Why Site B?
B is a great letter and lots of our favorite things start with B like Books, Bikes, Bears, Brewed Coffee, Beer, Bocci and even Bean Bags. The idea behind the name however, is that Site B is the alternative - to your normal, typical, usual, everyday place and way of connecting with your community.

Waste No Potential
Brought to you by the same people who started Traction on Demand, in an empty warehouse, in Port Moody back in 2007, Site B has been created with purpose, the very same purpose that took Traction from one person in the Tri-Cities to almost 1,500 teammates globally. That purpose was and our purpose is to Waste no Potential. Our mission is to use our space, our location, and the network of connected, creative, curious individuals, that we call neighbours, to enable others to realize their potential. Our key methods include creating new ways to work, to gather, to learn, to share, to play.

At Site B we operate with values at the forefront. Our reputation will be built through our relationships and when it comes to recruiting new team members or serving customers, partners and friends we look to develop relationships with those who share our values. While the businesses may have changed, the friendships and values have remained steadfast with our founders for over 15 years.

How Site B came to be.

We feel fortunate to be allowed carry out our business on the ancestral and unceded homelands of the kwikwəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼwa:n̓ ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), and Stó:lō (Sto:lo) Peoples, and extend appreciation for the opportunity to create a coworking environment and event space with the vision of bringing together the local community on this territory.

We’re putting our money where our name is and pledging 1% of our profit, product, time and equity to support non-profits in our community. We believe success isn’t a ladder you climb — it’s a bridge you build that inspires others to find their courage and help design their own success.
